Seeking  a  tech  savvy  and  gadget  loving  mid  to  senior  level  Interactive  &  Usability  Research  Project  Director   to  join  our  team  and  help  grow  our  company  and  capabilities.  It  is  a  fantastic  opportunity  at  a  company  that  is  changing  the   face  of  marketing  and  communications.  Project  Directors  are  critical  to  our  success  and  are  responsible  for  driving  business   forward.    In  conjunction  with  the  business  development  team,  Project  Directors  develop  innovative  research  solutions,  manage   highly  visible  client  relationships,  implement  all  stages  media  research  projects,  oversee  budgets,  analyze  output,  draft  reports   and  present  results  to  some  of  the  largest  brands  in  the  world.    Recent  projects  have  included  the  impact  of  second  screen  viewing  during  the  Super  Bowl,  the  impact  of  sharing  CNN  news   stories  over  Facebook,  optimization  of  large  format  advertising  on  Yahoo.com,  how  FOX  TV  extension  sites  change  viewer   engagement  and  large-­‐scale  usability  projects  for  Intuit.  As  an  Interactive  Project  Director,  you  will  work  with  the  largest   interactive  companies  in  the  world  on  projects  that  no  other  methodology  can  touch,  delivering  results  that  change  the  way  our   clients  do  business.     The  successful  candidate  must  have  a  background  in  web  development,  but  must  be  flexible  and  posses  a  diverse  and   varied  skill  set  to  handle  a  wide  range  of  responsibilities.  For  example,  while  the  Interactive  Project  Director  will  concentrate  on   interactive  projects,  he  or  she  may  also  manage  projects  for  television  research,  shopper  insights  or  general  advertising   research  as  needed.      All  project  managers  should  be  fast  learners  that  quickly  ramp  up  to  work  across  multiple  other  marketing  
or  media  research  domains.        

Under  general  supervision,  responsibilities  of  the  Project  Manager/Client  Consultant  include:         Analyze  results,  prepare  research  reports  and  present  to  clients.  
Gather  requirements  (business,  functional,  technical).  
Plan  projects  by  defining  scope,  creating  work-­‐based  schedules,  mapping  out  resource  requirements  and  developing comprehensive  budgets.  
Manage  the  creation  of  interactive  user  experiences  for  studies  (prior  experience  in  interactive  media  research  or  web  development  required).  
Serve  as  primary  client  interface  on  a  daily  basis  for  project-­‐specific  communications.
Facilitate  regular  status  meetings  (internal  and  external);  maintain  periodic  status  reports.  
Manage  cross-­‐functional  teams  (field  analysts,  scientists  and  web  developers).  
Promote  a  highly  collaborative  research  culture,  spreading  experience  and  knowledge  not  only  within  the team,  but  also  in other  departments  and  with  executives  throughout  Innerscope  Research.  Motivate  team  members  and  reinforce  the   Innerscope  brand.  
 
Travel  Requirements

Qualifications    
MBA  with  a  consulting  background  is  a  plus.  
5+  years  of  relevant  experience  in  a  fast-­‐paced  interactive  marketing  or  development  environment.   Understanding  of  basic  capabilities  of  HTML,  Javascript  and  Server-­‐Side  Scripting  (i.e.  know  what  these at  the  technologies are  used  for,  how  they  interactive  with  web  pages,  and  be  able  to  articulate  such  to  internal  and  external  clients).    
Experience  working  in  media  research,  and  familiarity  with  varying  methodologies  (quantitative,  qualitative,  etc.).  
Proven  analytical  skills,  attention  to  detail  and  problem  solving  abilities  (background  in  statistics  is  a  plus).  
Proven  verbal  and  written  communication  skills.  
High  proficiency  with  general  project  management  principles,  methods,  and  tools.
High  proficiency  with  project  planning  and  budget  development.  
Self-­‐motivated  and  able  to  work  efficiently  and  effectively  with  limited  management  and  oversight.   Ability  to  delegate  tasks  and  responsibilities  effectively  and  professionally.  
Ability  to  multi-­‐task  and  manage  multiple  concurrent  assignments  and  vendors  to  ensure  on-­‐time  completion  (time management  skills  are  critical).  
A  desire  to  work  with  constantly  evolving  technology.  
Proficiency  in  MS  office  (Outlook,  Powerpoint,  Word,  Excel,  etc.)  as  well  as  a  willingness  and  ability to  learn  new  programs
