University Relations Marketing Programs Manager

The University Relations (UR) team is looking for a program manager to lead the marketing UR program, based in Austin, TX for a short term contract. We’re looking for an experienced program manager with an enthusiasm for leading and managing people-focused projects. This individual will work collaboratively with HR, marketing managers and marketing executive leadership to recruit the best & brightest students to join our marketing organization.

Program accountabilities
• Partner across senior marketing leadership, hiring managers, HR business partners and Talent Acquisition to define & execute the following:
• Help executive the global marketing university hiring commitments (full-time and interns)
• Maintain structure to meet hiring UR commitments across all marketing global locations
• Track and manage program analytics via Operations & Client Solutions UR database

In the US:
• Execute marketing campus strategy in partnership with campus teams
• Help plan and executive marketing campus events to build and solidify brand on priority campuses
• Manage processes for on-campus hiring, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes and interviewing candidates
• Lead efforts to have hiring managers select candidates in a timely manner (via draft days)

Outside of the US:
• Partner with local managers and Talent Acquisition to meet deadlines for on-campus hiring and candidate selection
• Help implement recommendations to grow UR programs globally
• Manage marketing MBA intern program, ensuring interns have an exceptional experience
• Plan & manage US intern events
• Meet regularly with US interns to check on their progress during their internship
• Manage off-boarding and full-time offer process for interns at end of summer
• Represent marketing in O&CS UR governance meetings to shape O&CS-wide UR initiatives and provide updates on marketing program execution
• Improve program through external benchmarking and gathering lessons learned

Key responsibilities
• Serve as primary point of contact for summer marketing MBA internship program
• Develop project plans/schedules, defining project requirements, managing communications and reporting project status
• Partner and effectively communicate with cross-functional business partners at all levels in the organization, set & manage expectations with stakeholders, facilitate & drive project meetings and become a trusted advisor across projects
• Raise accountability, escalate issues in a timely manner and resolve conflicts
• Work on significant and unique issues, where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
• Responsible for achieving project objectives, while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
• Regularly reviews current processes and solutions to identify new ways of looking at and thinking about them that might lead to significant improvements
