UX/Visual Designer

This UX/Visual Designer will have a keen eye for world-class design, pixel-level perfection and attention to detail. Helps meet the integrity and execution of the design language based on design specifications, hi-fidelity layouts, redlines, and wireframes of various digital products. Will be working within a fast paced and fun team of designers and developers that have a collaborative approach to the design process. This team comes from a variety of backgrounds including agencies, small start-ups and technology companies like Yahoo. They need someone who is focused on delivering to a high quality of design craftsmanship and system level design execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support design leads on the creation, maintenance and delivery of the final designs throughout the digital customer experience.
• Collaborate with project teams on the execution of the design.
• Work directly with design leads, dev, QA and project teams to communicate pixel-level design changes.
• Successfully work within a collaborative software production environment that includes client and consultant colleagues aiming at a common goal of success.
• Track all discrepancies found in the interface and report, triage and assign severity ratings.
• Understand the impact of mobile devices on layout designs, and test for accurate design resolution for desktops, tablets and phones across all manufacturers and operating systems.
• Proactively engage with design and development teams to anticipate production timelines and deliverables expectations, and meet all goals in a timely manner.
• Experience with Adobe Cloud versions of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and AxurePro, Balsamiq, or iRise wireframe software.
• Present information in one-on-one and group situations to vendors, clients and agency employees as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 4 years UX/UI or visual design experience
• High-level computer and software skills ( Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Axure, Balsamiq, and/or iRise
• Must have experience working in the banking, financial or credit card industry
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of test and debugging methodologies and techniques
• Proven ability to independently perform a system analysis to derive and execute upon an efficient test plan on the supported devices (desktop, tablet and smartphone)
• Knowledge of Web standards, technologies, and terminology
• Strong user scenario focus
• Solid understanding of interaction design principles
• Must be self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
• Must be capable of working independently as well as contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to work across multiple client, design, and development teams effectively
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
• A desire to further grow skills in a UX design capacity is a plus
• Web and mobile platform experience desired but not crucial

LOCATION:
• Onsite at client in San Francisco.

DURATION:
• Job duration will be approximately 12 months.
