An Application Performance Control System for cloud & virtual environments is seeking an UX/UI Designer to join their growing team! As of now, they have 85 people on their engineering team, 12 people on their UI team (mostly FED and Full Stack) and 1 UX/UI Designer. They are looking for someone with 5-15 years of experience that can be the Senior person on the UX/UI team. The main responsibility is producing high level mock-ups and prototypes and some high level strategy. IDEAL if the candidate has worked in technology, software or finance. This is mostly ON-SITE with some flexibility to work off-site.

Overview:
As a user experience and user interface designer you will work within UX Development Team and will play one of the key roles in creating new version of the main product. You have a chance to participate in a very challenging and exiting project and build an all new version of a product which is a game changer in the market.

Responsibilities:
- Develop high level and detailed mockups, interactive prototypes and specifications to effectively communicate design ideas to Development, Product Management and other Teams.
- Present mockups and prototypes to the Team.
- Conduct and participate in user research.
- Advocate for the end user, always seeking ways to improve and innovate

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS or a related field or equivalent 2+ year practical experience.
- Excellent UI design and prototyping skills with knowledge in: Photoshop, Illustrator/Sketch, Axure RP to other prototyping tools.
- Ability to tell a story by means of mockups and prototypes.

Preferred qualifications
- MA/MS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS or a related field.
- 5-15 years of relevant work experience with the ability to demonstrate your achievements.
- Basic HTML/CSS skills.
- Strong, clean visual design sense.
- Good interaction design skills.
- User research participation experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Sense of humor.
