Vitamin T's client is a top-rated internet retailer/etailer, authorized value-added reseller, and solutions provider that supplies a broad array of computer, consumer electronics and other products (over 200,000) to the business, consumer, education and government markets.

-Will be onsite in El Segundo to begin with but remote work is a possibility thereafter.
-Will be a short-term freelance project.

This position will focus on designing the UX/UI experience, process, flow and product usability of the next generation website/store defining the framework, hierarchy and behavior of interactive information. The eCommerce UX/UI Website Developer/Designer will be involved in developing the iteration of visual display, information presentation and the consumer experience.

This role requires an innovative, yet systematic thinker and problem solver interested in driving a world-class solution.

· A digital interactive portfolio must be included by all candidates.

· We would expect the online portfolio to include a broad range visual, interaction and design work.

· eCommerce design/development experience REQUIRED for a internet–based retailer offering a large number of diverse products and skus. This one item will be essential for this individual as we are strictly an online retailer and we have many categories of products and a diverse customer base.


This individual will initially review our topline requirements for the new site and working with an array of internal resources from marketing to IT will advance them to a level where they can be wireframed. This individual should possess wireframing skills and should have an understanding of that and overall site design from an online retailing perspective. Knowledge of the online retail environment, particularly in our product categories, plus the online marketplace environments will be very helpful.

· Translate our requirements into detailed page layouts/UIs, color palettes, typography, wireframes, system flows, iconography and user interface elements, while monitoring and maintaining design consistency

· Brainstorm, storyboard, wireframe, and prototype to create and support the user experience
