As the user experience writer, you’ll shape product experiences by creating useful, meaningful text that helps users complete the task at hand. You must be a stellar writer. You have a portfolio of work that demonstrates content that simplifies the overall experience. In this job, you'll work both independently and as part of writing and product development, confidently managing a variety of interests while interacting with engineers, product managers and other writers. You will become an expert on at least one product, using discipline and perseverance to create informative, accurate and lively content.

Users have shown that they want tailored experiences for different verticals. We need to solve the user problem of quickly finding helpful, objective information to compare alternatives and in the process drive significant revenue. This role will help this tech giant with breakout new launches.

Responsibilities:
-Write, publish and maintain high quality user interface (UI) messaging and tooltips.
-Write brief, persuasive, on-task text for the user interface that keeps users engaged and encourages adoption of new product features.
-Write simple, clear, friendly in-product help text that aids our users’ understanding of how our products work.
-Manage the production, publishing, and localization hand-off of your work.
-Collaborate with product and content experts.
-Identify and utilize user needs, use cases, and metrics to focus priorities and develop documentation solutions.

Minimum qualifications:
-BA/BS degree English, journalism, technical writing or a related field. In lieu of degree, five years of relevant work experience.
-Three years of experience writing UI text in a production environment.
-Content management systems and/or help tools experience.

Preferred qualifications:
-At least five years of relevant experience, such as technical or marketing writing, product documentation or online publishing.
-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS.
-Experience working closely with engineering, product management, and user experience teams as part of the software development process.
