Aquent's client - a Fortune 500 tech company in Mountain View, CA - has a product that allows businesses to be seen by customers at the very moment that they’re searching for the things they offer. This is a critical platform in the client's ecosystem for large and small businesses globally.
This team is undergoing user experience research and brand voice definition to ensure clear, compelling, friendly language in key touch points — from in-product copy to email communications. They are looking for a stellar UX writer for 9+ months, with a portfolio of compelling writing for consumer and enterprise brands that show a knack for narrative.
•Participate in sprints to gain insights from user research and business intelligence to define brand voice and update language in key touch points
•Create copy and develop tests in partnership with research, design, and product management team
•Partner with Payments help center writers to ensure a cohesive cross-product communication strategy
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
•Write UI copy for Payments experiences
•Work with lead UX content strategist & partner teams to develop and evolve an Payments UX style guide and word list for consistent language
•Define and develop the content strategy for emerging Payments UX initiatives
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field (Human Computer Interaction, aka HCI or Psychology)
•Professional experience: 5+ years experience in writing and designing product experiences as part of a UX team developing software and/or at a digital agency
•Portfolio of demonstrated product and writing work
•Strong verbal and written communications, including developing presentations and deliverables
•Proven ability to drive design thinking through working closely with UX and product teams
Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:
•Familiarity and experience working in the Payments space
