The User Experience (UX) team is responsible for the current and next generation design of the multi-screen entertainment experience for both US and Latin American markets.

The UX Producer for Latin American products will join the UX team, based in Los Angeles, and will be responsible for managing UX projects for Latin American set-top-box, mobile, and web products. As a UX Producer, you will be responsible for identifying design needs and coordinating the design of features that advance the local market’s overall user experience. You will be accountable for managing design’s role in the local market’s product development process, and serve as the key liaison between the subsidiaries and the UX team. The position demands close collaboration with the design, engineering, and product management teams.


Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain a trusted, collaborative relationship with Latin America businesses. Work with business, product, and engineering leaders as the de-facto point of contact for all UX initiatives related to the Latin America service.
• Manage day-to-day coordination of multiple simultaneous UX projects. Gather requirements. Shepherd the timely creation of briefs, user scenarios and storyboards, text strings, flow charts, annotated wireframes, and other documentation that defines the user experience. Track open issues and follow up with business and engineering, working with UX designer. Coordinate reviews and approvals.
• Maintain understanding of each project’s progress, focused on clearing roadblocks and delivering on time. Proactively identify risks and effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure resolutions.
• Brainstorm with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to solve problems.
• Identify user research needs and ensure communication of research protocols and results.
• Identify opportunities to improve process and implement process innovations.
• Hours are typically 9am to 6pm in offices with occasional extended hours as needed.
• Occasional travel, including travel to Latin America.


Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years experience producing complex interactive projects
• Exceptionally strong project management skills with experience leading multiple simultaneous projects with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with engineering teams and design teams
• Dedication to driving projects with initiative, anticipating challenges, solving problems, meeting deadlines, and managing time
• Patience and clarity in verbal and written communications and presentations to cross-functional and cross-cultural audiences
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge adeptly
• Capacity and desire to learn technical capabilities and limitations at a theoretical level of understanding
• Highly organized, dedicated, patient, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Software proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Familiarity with Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
