Role:
As a UX Strategy consultant you will help clients in defining their digital Strategy based on an overall mission and specific (brand) objectives. You lead the strategic analysis, which involves industry analysis, customer/marketplace trends, environmental forecasts, competitor analysis and an assessment of internal strengths, weaknesses and resources. Based on these insights you help the client determine, by strong guidance and by building consensus, in which arenas the business will be active in the digital environment, how to get there and what is necessary to win in the marketplace. All these insights combined lead to a realistic executional plan by means of a roadmap with actionable recommendations in order to deliver our clients further growth and a sustainable competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of user experience concept for (multiple) touch points, incorporating business and brand requirements, technical constraints, research findings, and the audience's behaviour tasks, needs and goals, as well as industry insights and UX developments
- Determine the strategy based on the analysis and the Client needs
- Moderate workshops and support the presentation by taking the stage on internal and external affairs, presenting a sharp vision on UX and Commerce for broad audiences from different backgrounds
- Selling visual and user experience design services
- You're capable of coming up with a backlog and estimating user experience design efforts
- Thought leadership, you bring insights and knowledge into the work floor
- Responsible for the performances and capacities of the UX department for projects in which involved
- Estimating the UX efforts needed and will communicate it to the team
- Taking the lead in the development process
- Work hand in hand with the Product Owners, Designers and Developers

Requirements:

- Bachelor or University degree in for example the areas Design, Digital Media, Communication, Interactive Media, Psychology, Computer Science or HCI
- You have 3 years relevant work experience
- Current knowledge on UX patterns and processes
- Experience in preparing and executing workshops and pre-sales
- Able to prepare business plans and roadmaps
- E-commerce or banking experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the Dutch and English language
- Attention to detail
- Pro-active, hands-on, problem solver and open to travel
