UX Strategist

Our client is seeking a UX strategist to be an integral part in the development of Enterprise level E-Commerce software by working closely with Sr. Management, Visual Designers, Project Managers, Front and Backend technology teams to plan, design, test, and build user center features. You must be a subject matter expert of UX/UI best practices and standards. Use research related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations.

Research design and conduct outreach campaigns in order to get to know and understand the needs, pain points, and what delights the customer base and the customer base of competitors. Serve as an advocate for the customer throughout the product development life-cycle and product pillars. Execute and report on user research studies on a regular basis.

Create and Maintain user experience documentation such as competitive site analyses, user scenarios, storyboards, user flows, and interaction notes. Must be able to create and own detailed functional wireframes and interactive prototypes. (Axure or Balsamiq expertise preferred)

Via extensive QA accept ownership of the quality of the user experience of the software. Measure, analyze and present quality of experience KPI's to Sr. Management. Continually analyze and meter campaign KPIs and work with the entire team in order to implement improvements.

Use quantitative and qualitative data to advocate for design innovative solutions for complex concepts.

Work with entire product team to ensure maintenance of a cohesive user interface as it evolves by contributing to a style guide and/or pattern library.

Create informational graphics including blueprints, functional specs, personas, prototypes, sitemaps, use cases, user journeys, and wireframes.


BA/BS in design, technology or equivalent field.
3+ years experience in consulting, design, development, product management or related field.
Able to produce wireframes, site maps, user flows, functional requirements and other documentation.
Experience building numerous large scale websites, microsites and/or web applications.
