UX Strategist / Lead

Our Austin-based client is looking for a Web User Experience (UX) Strategist in their eBusiness group. The ideal candidate has a mix of visual design and user experience skills and demonstrates the ability to solve problems creatively, with a sensibility toward user-centered digital design. As a member of the Digital Customer Experience Team, a cross-discipline group, you will have responsibility for discovering, analyzing, and documenting user interface and user experience requirements for multiple projects.  You will lead a user-centered design process, driving a focus on validation through user testing and creating the necessary artifacts and tools for a successful project life-cycle.

Responsibilities:
 Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate requirements (business goals and user needs) into interaction and design solutions
 Produce time estimates, concept models, process flows, site maps, wireframes, Functional Matrix, and specifications
 Participate in requirement gathering sessions and with clients during project definition phase.
 Provide a consistent user experience across multiple web browsers and devices.
 Work in cross-functional teams to refine requirements and iterate on design alternatives in an Agile environment.
 Lead user experience efforts with the UX team, providing mentorship and development for other UX and visual designers
 Collaborate with a team of designers and developers to implement designs and validate features as they are built, to ensure they adhere to National Instruments core UX principals

 Continually improve UX design through targeted design and analysis of experiments, such as A-B testing and other user feedback forums
 Review and test developed UIs for adherence to specified UI/UX designs; Adjust design and maintain design documents as changes occur during implementation phase
 Created user scenarios and prototypes for actual testing
 Utilized testing results to modify design or to make recommendations for future enhancement
 Create, maintain and share project documentation and UX guidelines after project execution; Present end design proposal to primary business owners.
