UX Researcher Needed X2 (Edinburgh & West Yorkshire Location) | Retail Banking – 6month contract.
****Do you live within a commutable distance of Halifax or the Edinburgh area?
Our client is a leading competitor within UK’s leading banking industry who has over 10million online costumers. They are currently looking for two UX Researchers in separate locations, 1 in Edinburgh and the other in West Yorkshire. This opportunity will be working with the Service Design team, who work on the engagement services via our mobile, desktop & tablet channels along with investing new technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing usability studies across the digital products that may include focus group, usability testing, card sorting, ethnographic research, expert interviews and more.
- Managing the development and collation of research assets required to conduct research to agreed timescales
- Analysing research outcomes and develop professional reports that promote objectivity and the voice of the Customer.
- Liaise with project teams to identify a road-map of research activities across their project.
- Liaising with and using research to influence key stakeholders including senior management, product teams, legal, compliance, innovation, digital transformation, e-Commerce and content management by conducting research activities to gain buy-in to make Customer improvements
- Managing and mentoring more junior members of the UX Research Team.
- Support the Senior User Research Manager, assessing various research requests and advising teams on key method for costumer engagement.
- Managing the development and collation of research assets required to conduct research to agreed timescales
You will have:
- Experience in designing, conducting research, documenting findings to make recommendation to projects and senior stakeholders.
- Strong Knowledge in moderating usability tests, card sorting exercises, focus groups, ethnographic and other research activities.
- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Experience of stakeholder management.
- Excellent written, presentation and communications skills.
Good to have:
- Strong background in Human Computer Interaction or any related field.
- Experience working within an Agile set up.
- Experience working within a financial environment.
