UX Researcher needed to work with an awesome and fun team of interaction designers, visual designers, product managers, marketing, engineers, and fellow researchers to define and improve the user experience by conducting user research with customers on web and mobile devices. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and managing user research using methods like in-lab usability studies, benchmark studies, competitive evaluations, participatory design sessions, user surveys, heuristic evaluations, field studies,and similar approaches.

Your typical day: Working closely with interaction designers, visual designers, product managers, marketing, engineers, and fellow researchers to define and improve the user experience on web and mobile devices.

Job Requirements:

- Must be skilled at conducting upfront research early in the product development process, with a proven record of informing the product direction and strategy.

- Able to develop creative approaches to researching complex user experience problems and can convey ideas in tangible form.

- Openness to synthesize research findings from other data sources (including market research and data mining our analytics platforms) into meaningful recommendations and actionable items.

- Must be innovative, demonstrate an ability to "think out of the box", and think beyond what is asked for.

- Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

- Ability to work on a variety of projects that include the redesign of our mobile app, mobile website, and desktop/laptop experiences.
