UX Researcher

User Experience Researcher needed to conduct independent research on multiple aspects of how users engage with novel products and experiences. The studies will be conducted one-on-one with customers/research participants in a usability setting, remote or onsite.

Duties include:
-Collecting and analyzing user behavior via qualitative methods, lab studies and surveys.
-Working with designers, product managers, engineers and research managers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
-Securing quarterly display ads product and project business goals to understand and incorporate the complex technical and business requirements into the research.
-Evangelizing research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
-Having a deep desire to apply design toward expanding what's possible and improving the world.

Requirements:
-Possess a strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase. Must be able to evaluate the type of methods to be used for the studies and design them from scratch.
-Must be able to work collaboratively with different roles and be decisive for research project recommendations.
-Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
-The ability operate independently a very fast-paced environment.
-3-5 years of experience within user research as the primary function.
-HCI, Design, or Psychology Degree

Preferred experience:
-Experience within Advertising, publishing, DoubleClick, mobile devices and/or app. are a plus.
