Vitamin T has an immediate need for a UX Researcher (no design) for a 12 month project with a Financial Services client in Chicago.
Experience crafting and leading UX research using both qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis. Proficient in a variety of UX research methods and tools, including prototyping, usability testing (remote and in-person), journey mapping, card sorting, user interviews, usability testing, persona development - and know how/when to advocate for different methods.
Skilled at creating discussion guides and leading open-ended, contextual conversations to help generate answers to key questions as well as discover what the team didn’t know and delivering a readout to the team and executives. Effectively articulate issues and concerns to team members and clients as well as work to strategize potential solutions.
Advocate for the user and relay to the team pain points and delights in their digital experience while also being an advocate for the stakeholder goals.
Help create defined customer journeys with measurable goals
Able to manage your own time whether working on a team in a collaborative environment or working independently.
Able to speak to the value of research and “sell” stakeholders on UX research
Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial services digital products space including products and user groups. (e.g.- Competitive Landscape Analysis).
Proactive looking for projects where UXR will provide value
Flexible to conduct interviews with global internal stakeholders and customers in Asia and Europe.
Minimum of a BA/BS degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Journalism, or related field.
Must have 3-5 years work experience.
Experience with agile development a plus.
Experience in Financial Services industry preferred.
