As a Researcher, you'll have the opportunity to support our research activities in developing innovative, user-friendly, best-of-breed products. We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent, detail-oriented, and can work fairly independently.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
:: Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and research managers to prioritize research opportunities in a fastpaced, rapidly changing environment.
:: User testing preparation activities (e.g. recruiting participants or other special user types of user research studies, lab setup, study planning, etc).
:: Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field studies, benchmark studies and surveys. Analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data. Familiar with range of methods.
:: Evangelize research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations and video highlight reels
B.A./B.S. or M.A/M.S./Ph.D. in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or other field emphasizing human behavior; or in lieu or degree, some related work experience.
1-2 years experience conducting UX research on consumer products
Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
Proven track record in conducting user research that has impacted product design
Can work independently and prioritize time between multiple projects and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects.
Detail oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Nice to Have Skills/Qualifications or Not Required:
Knowledge of basic statistical concepts preferred.
