UX Researcher

Our client is seeking UX Researcher with experience in both qualitative and quantitative methods who can distill a series of broad questions from stakeholders into a concrete, unbiased questions in an interview guide or survey.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product teams to identify research topics
  • Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
  • Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs
  • Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways

Requirements: 

  • Plan a research project from vague research questions to the dissemination of concrete, actionable research findings 
  • Run qualitative user interviews either in-person or remote 
  • Put together a survey that efficiently answers stakeholder questions in an unbiased way 
  • Code themes from open-ended survey data or qualitative interviews to draw precise insights 
  • Can analyze numeric survey data using the analysis tool of their choice (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS)

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, or a human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.)
  • MA / PhD preferred
  • Experience in applied product research
