UX Researcher

The UX Researcher will be  responsible for designing, conducting, analysing and reporting on user-centered design research and usability testing. This includes identification of user needs and objectives, persona and user journey development, task and workflow modelling, rapid iterative usability testing and more formal in-depth research and testing.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Using a variety of methods to collaborate with stakeholders and providing rich consultation throughout the UX design process

  • Assisting stakeholders to define digital experience requirements through identifying user and business needs

  • Working with the CX team to implement the innovation framework and lab

  • Carrying out quality assurance reviews during the UX design process to ensure a consistent quality

    output

  • Understanding, applying and measuring key UX success metrics

  • Maintaining and growing the user experience design tools and resources used by the team

  • Advising the business on research strategy and design across projects, including methodology, resourcing, equipment and costings

  • Writing tasks, facilitating user testing sessions, managing recruitment, and accessibility testing

  • Working with other enterprise research teams, plan and implement a range of complimentary

    quantitative and qualitative research methods

  • Documenting research findings and recommendations in reports or other relevant research deliverables

  • Utilising a range of industry tools and equipment to run exploratory and validation research

  • Managing and sharing research findings, usability articles and knowledge

  • Practising design thinking methodology, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and/or customers and using various concepting techniques

  • Creating UX strategies and schedules across projects, including integration within CX service blueprints

  • Identifying and wire-framing key interactions solving user interface problems

  • Developing user journeys, user flows, information flows, taxonomies and hierarchies

  • Creating prototypes of varying fidelity for user testing

  • Using industry design and prototyping tools such as Axure, Invision, Sketch and Adobe CC to create wireframes and prototypes
