UX Researcher - Customer Journey Mapping Mandatory

Our healthcare client is seeking a User Experience Researcher for a long-term, onsite contract in Pasadena, CA. In this role you will research the user requirements and process flow of intranet micro-sites. Primarily, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user-centered design research and usability testing for a healthcare website; including identification of user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling, ethnography and persona development, as well as rapid iterative usability testing and more formal, in-depth testing.

**For this role, a successful User Experience Researcher must have experience with Customer Journey Mapping and be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects.**

Additional Responsibilities:
• Conduct usability research both online and in the field and provide recommendations for improvement--must have finesse in engaging diverse teams/functions!
• Serve as a member of a team that acts as a 'repository' of research-based usability knowledge
• Work with project business representatives and team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods
• Determine user needs by conducting task-focused analysis
• Work with graphic designers to test proposed look & feel initiatives--must be effective in communicating visual design needs!
• Coordinate, conduct and moderate usability tests and prepare written analysis

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a UX Research role (3-5+ years preferred)
- Bachelors/4 Year degree, or advanced certification and training
- Travel Required: 5-10%
