UX Research Coordinator

Our client, in the travel industry, is searching for a UX Research Coordinator. The role is a 6 month to a year contract. You will be heavy in coordination with internal and external partners, creating deliverables, ensuring timelines are met, setting up supplies for test days at the remote lab, working with the 3rd party participant recruitment firm, etc. The ideal candidate will be a mixed-methods researcher with strong, professional qualitative and quantitative research experience, and an understanding of survey design and basic survey analysis.

The right candidate will be:
· Experienced in qualitative methods such as in-depth interviewing and usability testing
· Experienced with designing surveys and basic survey analysis
· Passionate about research and travel
· Comfortable in a fast moving organization and excited to collaborate with various research partners

Specific responsibilities include:
· Manage research projects across a variety of methodologies
· Conduct qualitative studies (usability studies, click-tests etc.), analyze data, and share
· findings
· Field surveys, analyze responses, and report findings
· Maintain ongoing research initiatives including projects with external research vendors
· Communicate research findings internally in clear and compelling ways
· Work cross-functionally with design, product marketing, and product management

Hiring requirements:
· Advanced degree in HCI or other behavioral or social sciences a plus
· Extensive experience with qualitative research methods
· Understanding of quantitative research methods (e.g. surveying) and basic statistics
· Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to present clear results in both Excel and PowerPoint outputs
· Ability to ask, and answer, meaningful and impactful questions
· Fluid Surveys, Survey Monkey, Advanced Excel, Tableau or equivalent
