Project Overview: 
Conduct independent research of how Enterprise Clients use video conferencing and telephony services in their work environments. This includes planning and executing tactical studies like usability studies, focus groups, interviews, and more. You will be directly working with designers, product managers, engineers, and research managers to scope research needs and communicate findings (reports/presentations). 

Overall Responsibilities: 
Know how to setup a lab for a user study 
Conduct usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, etc. 
Assist on more strategic research of the Research team (note taking, helping write scripts, etc.) 
Clearly communicate a study plan to stakeholders and establish research goals 
Clearly communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders 
Performs other duties as assigned 
Training will be provided 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 
Conduct usability studies on new features and concepts 
Work with stakeholders to establish research goals of the study 
Communicate findings or insights to stakeholders (PM designers, etc.) 

Required Skills: 
Understands basic (user experience) research methods 
Skilled at conducting in­-person interviews 
Comfortable with and skilled at analyzing large qualitative datasets (e.g., interview videos, transcripts, open­-ended survey responses) 
Understands basic statistical concepts 

Nice to Haves 
Preference for a MA. (in progress or completed) in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Social Science, Anthropology, or other field focusing on human behavior and/or human computer interaction 
Open to new grads with MA degree with internship experience or master's projects 
2 years experience in a Researcher role 
Experience in video editing is nice to have but not necessary 
Excellent people skills 
Flexible working style

Detail oriented 
Excited to work in a fast­-paced team environment 
Can work independently and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects 
Strong oral and written communication skills
