This top tech company that is looking for a UX researcher in Boulder, CO is working on an effort to deliver physical mail digitally (as pdf documents) into accounts, by partnering with senders and aggregators.
This idea will set your mail free. Frees you from the daily burden of mail by delivering your important paper mail directly to your email account, a place you probably already check every day.
Unlock magic. Once mail is digital, magic is unlocked. Access on mobile. Review and pay a bill from a doctor’s waiting room. Chat with customer service while waiting for a table at a restaurant.
Search across all your mail. Spot interesting trends. Keep organized for taxes and mortgages.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of how users engage with our products and experiences.
-Collect and analyze user behavior via qualitative methods such as user testing, surveys, focus groups, etc.
-Plan, moderate, and synthesize findings from remote and one-on-one usability sessions to assess issues with product experience, ease of use, understandability, and general user feedback.
-Work with designers, product managers, engineers and research managers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
-Understand and incorporate technical and business requirements into research.
-Evangelize research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.

Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelors degree required, preferably in Social Sciences
-Minimum 4 years relevant experience as a user experience researcher
-Experience with an extensive variety of usability research tools and methods in an industry setting (especially user-centered design processes)
-Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
-Excellent experience with and knowledge of qualitative research methods
-Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task; the ability operate in a very fast-paced environment
-Proactive in research planning and team communication
-A deep desire to apply design toward expanding what's possible and improving the world
-Should be self-directed with effective time management skills
-Proven ability and desire to work effectively as a member of a team
-Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment
-Self-starter who is comfortable with minimal day-to-day guidance and independently managing deadlines
-Exhibit strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound recommendations and decisions based on observed user behavior and prior experience.

Preferred Requirements:
-Usability testing and/or design research experience in a digital product space
-UI & prototype testing
-Quantitative research experience a plus.
