We are looking for a User Experience Manager to join our effort to elevate the commerce experience for our sports retail client . We are looking for someone with the ability and desire to create a highly functional and visibly appealing experiences in key areas. As a UX Manager, your job is to make sure that our products and services are intuitive, accessible and usable to millions of our customers.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you can translate business needs and qualitative and quantitative data into amazing customer solutions. You are hands-on at visualizing experience concepts and can create and drive that vision into actionable design deliverables. You have experience in executing and directing the production of user interface wireframes and designs, interaction models, and prototypes. You are able to translate user insights and analytics into solutions that work for consumers. You are comfortable presenting your concepts to stakeholders and are able to translate for a range of audiences including product managers and technical leads. You think first from the customer’s perspective and set relentlessly high standards for yourself and your partners in developing best-in-class experiences from concept to execution.

Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on expertise and leadership in the development of information architecture deliverables including site maps, user flows, UI sketches, high fidelity wireframes, prototypes and features and functions specifications
• Partner with visual designers to assure UX best practices and standards are followed
• Provide input to the Product Manager in the heuristic evaluations and competitive audits for usefulness, usability, visual design, content and branding
• Partner with the Senior UX Insights Manager to prepare and conduct usability testing sessions as well as in-context behavioral research; Analyze, synthesize and organize data into meaningful themes, categories, and visually compelling user models and recommendations including personas, scenarios, and storyboards
• Seek innovative and intuitive approaches to interaction design
• Participate in core product team strategy discussions to help define use cases and business strategies that will make the product successful across all devices/channels
• Write creative project briefs that define goals, scope, context and requirements that are used by external vendors and internal teams to estimate budgets and timelines
• Partner with design resources (agency and in-house) to design new or modify existing experiences
• Partner with Product Managers to drive consensus on UX designs across stakeholders and negotiate diverse points of view and priorities
• Partner with developers and product managers to assure UX guidelines are understood and implemented to the highest standards
• Participate in visual quality assurance activities and work with the designers to implement issues found

Experience:
• Experience and understanding of how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and research to website, mobile and product development
• Process driven and strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to negotiate consensus and resolve issues
• A data driven approach to inform design decisions and product roadmaps
• Experience defining and monitoring success through site analytics
• Experience working collaboratively across different skillsets
• Excellent customer experience intuition and knowledge
• Demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly digital experiences and customer-facing features
• Deep understanding of user motivations, market opportunities and competition through research and testing
• Comprehension in multiple device types and contexts (desktop, tablet, mobile) and both responsive and adaptive designs for the web
• A strong portfolio of work samples showcasing creativity, thoughtfulness, and simplicity in interaction and visual design
• Broad experience designing web and mobile applications with a bias for action and learning
• 1-3 years of UX design for the web and/or mobile

• Bachelor’s degree in design-related discipline such as Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Architecture, Library and Information Science, Journalism or equivalent
