UX Information Architect

Responsible for delivery and customer satisfaction for key UX services as part of company's Global Business Services (GBS) team.  Accountabilities will include leading the experience architecture and strategy efforts for the UX team, providing thought leadership to internal clients and UX team members, and collaborating and integrating with clients, UX & Digital Services team members, and other service leaders.  This role will drive execution for these services in current state as well as defining how the suite of services will evolve. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing related UX technologies and tools, industry memberships, and recruiting talent.  Scope of services includes support to all facets of the business including internal and external facing solutions, functions such as Marketing, HR and Public Affairs & Communications as well as geographically aligned clients.  This individual should possess a relentless customer focus, be comfortable leading UX projects and team members, and represent the needs of our customers across the system to define and provide input to solutions that best meet their needs.

Responsibilities:
• Shape and evolve the experience strategy and architecture service offerings for the UX team
• Recommend the appropriate experience strategy and architecture services and deliverables based on client needs, spoken and unspoken
• Develop experience strategy and architecture artifacts such as user flows, journey maps and/or lead other junior team members in the creation of these assets
• Champion the value and necessity of UX and design to the organization and clients
• Act as single point of contact to clients for UX projects
• Create estimates for work artifacts
• Manage project scope, timeline, and deliverables
• Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to the organization regarding how UX related services can be leveraged more holistically to solve Company challenges
• Utilize knowledge in technology, business and user experience expertise to enable optimized approach to delivery and management
• Leverage deep understanding of user behavior and supporting analytics to make recommendations for technology solutions, roadmap and innovation for clients
• Identify technologies that drive business efficiencies as well as tie to online marketing, social, mobile, location and emerging technologies
• Manage key agency and vendor relationships and technology capability guidelines and best practices for the business
• Manage contractors, including assessing and assigning project workloads, ensuring overall projects are on track, and proactively identifying course corrections when needed
• Recruit and hire design and creative talent

Job Requirements:
Related Work Experience: 5 years minimum required
Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Technical Skills &Knowledge:
• Demonstrated understanding in the areas of user-centered design, creative and art production and direction, UX technologies and tools, web and mobile technology 
• Proficiency in conceptualizing and translating business requirements into specific system functionality that map to business goals
• Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning andexecuting projects from conception through implementation
• Client service experience including providing input to proposals, documenting proposals, creating estimates, and communicating with clients regularly
• Ability to lead and develop people
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to senior leaders, peers, stakeholders, clients, vendors and staff
