Senior UX/UI Developer

Our client is currently looking for a Senior User Experience Developer with 4+ years of experience to join their delivery team. The goal of this team is to build award-winning websites for their international clients. UX Developers are developing websites for the world's leading brands/companies. Their clients include big name retail/commerce brands.

The Sr. UX Developer will be part of our growing UX team, which encompasses the design, information architecture and development disciplines. If you’re passionate about using cutting edge technologies to deliver a great shopping experience to consumers, the Sr. UX Developer is perfect for you.

UX Knowledge and Skills:
4+ years as a front-end developer, usability engineer, technical architect or related work experience
A strong appreciation for the importance of usability in software applications and websites
Knowledge of current user-interface design patterns and best practices, especially using technologies in enterprise applications and B2B/B2C wesbites
Experience with or knowledge of: client requirements gathering, user profile personas, information architectures and taxonomies, user stories and use cases, focus groups and workshops, usability surveys, wireframes and prototypes, free-sorting exercises, style guides and writing functional spec

Technical Expertise
Front -end languages: Javascript, CSS, HTML5
Having knowledge in PHP, Java, Objective-C, are a plus
Script Libraries such as Prototype, jQuery, or similar is a must
Front end technologies like AJAX, SASS/Compass are nice to have
Manipulating Web-ready graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
MS Office or Open Office, including Powerpoint or Impress is a plus
Visio, Omnigraffle or other workflow or wireframing applications is a plus

Consulting Experience:
Assist with client requirements activities such as business analysis, task analyses and creative workshops
Help to translate user requirements artifacts such as wireframes and prototypes into functional specs for development teams
Understanding of all parts of the development cycle
Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills

Willing to travel to client locations as required
