UX Designer (full time)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Looking for someone that inspires passion, courage and imagination, where you can be part of the team shaping the future of global commerce?

A UX designer must have a deep understanding of customer goals and serve as the user’s advocate throughout the design process. They anticipate project needs, mediate issues as they arise and make decisions that are informed by statistical and competitive analysis as well as documented user research. The UX designer creates the foundation for a brilliant user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and user data, interpret the results and translate them into simple yet intelligent solutions
  • Lead collaborative ideation sessions with representatives from all key-stakeholder teams
  • Document user scenarios, personas and use cases and create subsequent taxonomies, site maps, user-flows, wireframes, schema and functional specifications
  • Serve as the liaison between the user research and design teams
  • Evangelize best-in-class UX solutions to internal product and business teams


  • Job Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of usability and industry best practices, specifically as they relate to ecommerce design
  • Collaborative working style; focused on getting the best solution for the user and/or brand
  • Comfortability with emerging multi-screen technologies, technical concepts and their impact on design
  • Ability to give constructive and meaningful critiques of work
  • Excellent problem-solving, oral and written communication skills
  • Degree in design, HCI, Library Science, or an equivalent field or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years as an IA or Interaction Designer (agency and e-commerce experience preferred)
