UX Designer Lead

0 people like this description

We design applications (desktop, web, mobile) for physicians to help them manage, treat,
and improve the lives and the care of their patients. Healthcare IT is notorious for lagging behind
consumer products in design, experience, and customer satisfaction. Our obsession is changing the
status quo by creating a suite of physician products which delight users and enable clinicians to
better care for their patients.

We are seeking a mid-level UX Designer with mobile experience who is up for a challenge. Healthcare
is rife with complexities, the learning curve is steep, and physicians demand the absolute best. If you
have a passion for creating great experiences and the grit to press through adversity, then we look
forward to meeting you!

Day to Day
This is a new role on our team to support a variety of teams and User Experience Product Owners
(UXPOs) with their projects. Our team is very fast paced and we need someone to ensure we are
designing with iOS/Android standards in mind. In addition, we are required to keep up with the pace
of development to ensure we are performing usability studies prior to building new features.

Must-Haves

This is a mid-level role requiring at least 2 years of experience in iOS/Android user
experience design

You must work from our office in Downtown Denver

A portfolio with samples of your work

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in your design weapon of choice (ideally a functional prototyping tool), like
JustInMind, InVision, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, etc.

Ability to carry your ideas through discussion, prototyping, and working with a development
team to implement them

Experience working in an Agile, iterative environment

Amazing communication and collaboration skills

Great at giving presentations because we like to show off our work, tell stories, and
articulate the problems we solve or show off how we improve the physician experience

Experience conducting usability studies

Ability to coach, lead, and mentor team members through the design process

Nice-To-Haves

Love new learning curves and minding the details, because every project has a stack of them

Interest in building a personal brand as a product design thought leader

Experience designing healthcare-related and data-heavy digital products
