UX Designer Jr-Mid

The UX Designer will develop well-conceived and successful information design solutions for our enterprise platform based on thorough audience research, business and functional requirements. The core UX deliverables you will create are requirements documentations, content strategies, competitive studies, personas, user scenarios, feature value analysis, site maps, process flows, wireframes, prototypes, functional specifications and usability testing reports. You will also assist the Creative Director in formulating and evolving departmental methodologies, processes and documentation standards.

You will work in a collaborative environment with creative and development teams. You will be responsible for the evolution of our enterprise platform, as well as other experiences that meet both clients’ business objectives and users’ goals.

Responsibilities
*Contribute to the accurate definition of project scope and phasing
*Putting together documentation, presentations, scoping, etc.)
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders, multidisciplinary team members and clients to gather detailed and accurate project requirements
*Define functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, site-maps, process flowcharts, content matrix, page level functional specifications and other documentations such as personas, user scenarios, feature value analysis, full functional specifications and usability testing reports
*Contribute to the overall strategic direction and vision of projects, making positive contributions and collaborative efforts in a closely-knit, multidisciplinary team environment
*Devise reusable interaction design models and documentation templates for building departmental efficiencies and standards
*Strong ability to evangelize and advocate experience architecture, information design philosophy, methodology and best practices to clients and internal audiences
*Manage deliverable documents, utilizing version and source control
*Develop innovative information architecture and interaction solutions
*Create usability testing plan and script, capture high-level findings through attentive observation of test sessions
*Up to date on the latest Web trends -- video, widgets, social networking and present findings to the group and senior members of other disciplines within the company
*Mentor and train junior staff and interns

Qualifications and Experience
*3+ years of Information architecture, user experience design, and user interface development experience
*BS/BA or Master’s degree in Design, information design, human-computer interaction, library science, or cognitive science with relevant hands-on experience in information architecture and UI design preferred
*A strong understanding of usability principles
*A strong understanding of business and user requirements, and the ability to address and advocate for the end-users experience
*Must demonstrate strong strategic, conceptual and associative thinking skills, and the ability to translate this thinking into powerful conceptual designs and related documentations
*Must have a strong understanding of established Interactive technologies, while constantly seeking for emerging technologies and trends
*Good conceptual understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Flash, CSS, XML, etc.)
*Fluency with general software such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe *Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
*Rapid prototyping skills (Axure or other applicable wireframing packages)
*Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required
*Experience with rapid & iterative development cycles (e.g., agile and extreme programming) highly desirable Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
*Strong analytical skills a must
*Excellent work ethics and professionalism
*Visual design background or cross-functional expertise a plus
