This a newly created position within a well-known, international, Australian business famous for a range of iconic brands.
This is the first dedicated UX resource for the Melbourne headquarters based in Kew and will see the successful individual work with the eCommerce and development teams to formulate and deliver the UX initiative roadmap. This is a hugely exciting role where your work will have real impact on the business’s digital assets and their customer’s online experience.

Key aspects of the role will also include:

• The identification and maintenance of a highly diverse set of user personas across a diverse demographic set
• The planning and conducting of user research and usability studies
• Identification, development and maintenance of personas, through user research studies and usability testing
• The design of flows, wireframes and storyboards
• Contributing to post implementation measurement and assessment of the success of all UX initiatives
• Brief front-end developers and assist with implementation of initiatives
• Maintain control of budget relating to any tools required to complete day-to-day projects
• Reporting on results of new initiatives to inform future initiatives
• Leveraging data for other areas of the business where relevant
• Driving a culture of innovation and best practice

Requirements

The following experience to be successful in this position will include;

• A minimum of 4 years experience working in a UX capacity
• Experience working on responsive ecommerce sites
• Experience with mobile-first and responsive design principles
• Experience gathering and analysing user data to inform the user experience
• Experience creating prototypes to illustrate design and interaction concepts
• Excellent analytical skills
