The ideal candidate is someone well versed in UX and user-centered design and who is a self-starter who is driven to collaborate and inspire. We are looking for someone attracted to visual work, who likes to create compelling and usable solutions in areas full of complexity. Design training and graphical sophistication, as well as a great understanding of UI architecture and user flows is a must. A senior level designer who is able to thrive in a highly collaborative environment is priceless in this position because of the emphasis on testing and iteration within the organization.

This Sr. UX designer would participate in and help facilitate UX design brainstorming and work sessions.
He/she would need to be able to sketch, produce storyboards, flow diagrams, and other artifacts required to develop and evolve user experience designs. This Sr. designer would work with Site optimization team to interpret test results, and incorporate results into design efforts. Effectively communicate, defend, and build consensus around visual + motion definition and design direction. You would be creating visual materials as well as designing user interfaces within the structure of existing Web properties. The Sr. User Experience Designer has responsibilities across all Provide-Commerce brands.

Responsibilities:
Visual design, including composition, layout information hierarchy, typography and color.

The ability to solve complex interaction design issues.

Designing user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces

Translating usability and field research findings into design improvements;

Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change

Demonstrate experience and a working understanding of how to apply user research data.

Effectively share your point of view and expertise with project team members.

Display breadth, creativity and proven experience in: telling stories, building UI models, generating detailed wire frames, developing comprehensive specifications.

Extensive prototyping: from paper prototyping to interactive prototypes.

Requirements:
5+ years (education) or equivalent UX design experience in product, company or agency.

BA/BS in design or related field, with significant industry experience.

Experience in information design a plus, but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Solid experience working with one or more standard UX tools (Balsamiq, Axure, Omnigraffle, iRise, Visio)

Experience hand coding front-end markup (HTML,CSS) a plus

Experience working in and/or basic understanding of a customer-facing business

Ability to think strategically as well as execute

Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.

Capacity to work well in team environment

Experience in an eCommerce environment preferred
