Vitamin T is looking for a User Experience Designer to join our client's growing growing global UX team. If you love understanding user needs, designing elegant web-application interfaces that make complex tasks easy, and working collaboratively in an agile development environment, this might be the opportunity for you.

What you'll do:
 Apply user centered design best practices to understand user needs and tasks.
 Partner with business leads to develop an understanding of concepts and business requirements.
 Develop design renderings/wireframes defining the user interface form, function, navigation, interaction,
and basic screen design.
 Perform usability analysis and design to ensure ease-of-use for target user populations
 Create accessible designs per ADA Section 508 requirements and W3C WAI guidelines.
 Write brief functional requirements documents or annotated wireframes to convey design elements and
interactions to the product development team.
 Advocate for the user
 Lead projects to successful implementation.

What you need to be successful:
 Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following areas or a related field - Library Science, Human- Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, Visual Communications.
 Industry experience in interface design, web design, information architecture, usability design, or a closely related field.
 Proven experience producing appealing and effective web application designs
 Passion for creating a good experience for our users
 Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles, web design best practices, visual trends and
emerging web technologies.
 Expert knowledge of one or more wireframing tools such as Adobe Illustrator (preferred), Axure, Visio
or OmniGraffle.
 Experience with usability analysis, design, and test methods.
 Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript concepts and modern browser capabilities. (Ability to code is not
necessary.)
 Demonstrated ability to work in an agile development team.
 Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Strong attention to
detail.
 Adaptable/flexible to changing environment.
 Familiarity with library tools and services is a plus but not required.
