UX Designer

Our global consulting client is looking for a passionate User Experience Designer who is excited about shaping the future of enterprise software. You can easily simplify a complex design problem into a delightful and engaging experience. You are a self-starter and can seamlessly work in a distributed team environment. You can communicate the value of user experience and UX activities to business, design and technology experts in your sleep. You can flawlessly deliver pixel perfect designs while juggling multiple assignments. You proactively share ideas and can harness them into viable business solutions.

The UX Designer’s responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Creating UX design deliverables ranging from storyboards, wireframes, prototypes and site maps
• Understanding end users and how they use our software products
• Evaluating current products to identify usability issues and recommend enhancements
• Ensuring all user experience deliverables are high quality and fulfill product needs
• Contributing to internal assets and participating in the advancement of our capabilities
• Effectively working with Business SMEs, Product Managers and Developers to explain designs and rationale
• Understanding web technology and ensuring your design can be built by our developers

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%, typically Monday through Thursday

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required - preferably in HCI, Information Technology, Marketing or related degree
• Minimum 1 years work experience in a User Experience role at a software company
• Minimum 1 years work experience creating storyboards, wireframes, interactive prototypes and information architecture deliverables
• Familiar with technology packages and their impact to creating quality user experiences
• Proficient in Axure RP or similar prototyping software
• Have a portfolio of your recent work

Preferred Skills:
• Experience designing enterprise software applications
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, CSS3 or Animation
• Participated in or facilitated usability testing and other user research methods
• Experience in Insurance or Healthcare and Public Service industries
