Got a knack for leading UX design and presenting wireframes to clients?

If so, Vitamin T's client, a full service advertising agency is looking for you! They offer a fun-filled work environment with awesome perks.

They're in need of a multitasking, collaborative, and flexible Freelance UX Designer experience to support our Interactive team for a 6 week project.

Quick run down:
- On-site in El Segundo
- 6 week freelance contract, with possible extension
- Pay is $40/hr Depending on your Experience
- Starts as soon as 6/16


You must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Graphic/Visual Arts, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Marketing, math, Fine Arts, etc) or related work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of interactive design experience working on large complex sites at a digital advertising agency
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Photoshop, Home Site or equivalent HTML WYSIWYG
• Related experience within an advertising agency environment
• Strong understanding of software and web process development and technologies
• Expert level experience Visio/Omnigraffle
• Working Knowledge of Flash
• Solid knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
• Ability with observing user research and translating research into design decisions
• Excellent written/verbal/oral communication/presentation skills
• Robust portfolio with various examples of advanced development skills
• Strong knowledge of site design; mastery in principles of Web Design
• Familiar with multiple browser limitations and features


Your daily adventures (but not limited to):

• Create wireframes, site maps, schematics, process maps, feature lists, mockups, visual specification, working prototypes, and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience
• Conduct competitive research and provide effective and efficient information architecture, UI design recommendation and presentation of these solutions to the team
• Produce final documentation describing the requirements for the given project for internal personnel as well as the client
• Work with the interactive/creative team to effectively gather information from essential stakeholders on projects
• Conduct presentations of the IA to clients
• Develop thorough, realistic plans that support organizational objectives
• Work with clients to understand their business models/goals and help define strategy, content, and features for the design of their website.
• Analyze audiences and their information/functional needs, including where necessary development of personas with user flows & goals
• Create usability testing plans, conduct usability testing and provide recommendations
• Contribute to experimentation/labs and thought leadership
• Define site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built
• Provide thorough documentation describing the requirements and flow for the given project for clients, 3rd party vendors, and the internal team
• Work effectively with the project producer to meet timelines while taking direction from the creative team and implementing and/or articulating further direction to others
