Our client's growing Interactive Commerce department has an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to own and evolve the customer experience for web and mobile within a multi-channel retail client.

Reporting to the Interactive Commerce Operations Manager, you will lead a small team in optimising and improving the platforms, through implementing and identifying UX focused improvements, and through leveraging and localising global eCommerce enhancements for the UK.

The UX designer will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of front-end enhancements and information architecture deliverables including: IA documentation, UI design, HTML and CSS.

As part of the UX team you will work alongside the Senior Web Designer and liaise with the Media Technology, IT and Marketing departments to deliver new enhancements and functionality for customers, and work with other senior team members within Interactive Commerce to improve and optimise customer experience and conversion, based on market data.

You will collaborate with the Marketing Insight Manager in defining and conducting usability studies and utilising customer based research in order to inform and refine the customer journey on the interactive platforms.

The successful candidate will have worked on large, transactional websites in applying expert knowledge of user experience design and testing. They will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team to meet project deadlines and style guidelines. Core capabilities around conceptual design, user profiling and task analysis, information architecture, interaction and experience design.

Proven experience of relevant software Axure RP, Visio, Dreamweaver, Morae, OmniGraffle, Adobe creative suite, and good working knowledge of front-end web development, including HTML, CSS, and JS is needed.
