Overall Responsibilities:
Help to define and document reusable user interaction patterns for client's Search products and features. Interact with Search UX Framework and Content teams to develop high level and/or detailed mockups and specifications of emerging UX patterns that meet user needs and are applicable to multiple products across Search. Gauge the usability of those patterns with Researchers, and making constructive suggestions for change. Document the patterns and collaborate on their implementation.

Top 3 daily responsibilities:
The main responsibilities are maintaining and evolving the Search Framework, including:
- Providing a component system to scale Search content to a variety of search surfaces on mobile and other hardware devices (e.g. TV, Watch, Auto, etc.)
- Build the Answers and Knowledge product within Search, that provides users with Search information from Web resources, as well as client’s Knowledge Graph
- Maintain and evolve the Search design language to provide a consistent product experience across surfaces.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop new patterns as reusable UI artifacts that solve recurring tasks on the Search user interface.

Required Skills:
BA/BS Degree in human-computer interaction or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience as a visual or interaction designer.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering web or app experiences.
Intermediate HTML and CSS skills are essential. Knowledge of other prototyping tools for rapid concept validation is desired. Strong visual design sense. Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate has contributed to UX frameworks in the past
