Seeking an agency-experienced User Experience Designer for an amazing agency in Boston that is focused on integrating brand strategy, design, and digital media to help mission-driven organizations navigate change. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • >  Collaborate with brand strategists, designers, and developers to bring brands to life on the web by researching, conceiving, wireframing, and prototyping, user experiences for websites

  • >  Conduct user-focused research with client stakeholders

  • >  Design and deliver wireframes, user personas / journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

  • >  Make strategic user-experience decisions rooted in branding, design, and technical requirements

  • >  Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate prototypes

  • >  Plan and administer both moderated and remote user testing sessions

  • >  Work closely with clients on stewarding UX projects through approval processes

  • >  Sweat the details and ensure sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes include proper functional

    and behavioral annotations

  • >  Work closely with designers, developers, and clients during QA and UAT to ensure high-

    quality end results

  • >  Participate in UX-related proposal and estimate scoping

  • >  Take smart risks and champion new ideas

    Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven UX design experience (preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments)

  • Expertise in UX software such as InVision, Sketch, Protoshare and the like is a must (basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WordPress knowledge are a plus)

  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision

  • A Deep understanding of responsive design

  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies

  • An understanding of usability and accessibility concerns

  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

  • Ability to clearly communicate processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients

  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders

  • Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge with them, and learn from them

  • A strong project management sensibility

  • Ability to comfortably handle the demands of a fast-paced environmentMust be a self-starter, able to work well under pressure and have a keen eye for detail
