Video solution for the enterprise, provides an elegant and efficient means of sharing video content across your company, safely and securely. You’ll design interface experiences that solve complex interactions with elegance and simplicity. The role’s broad scope will give you plenty of room to utilize your skills and experience, working on scenarios that have immediate impact on the current experience as well as on more forward-thinking explorations that will help shape the longer-term strategy, vision and UX direction.

You should have a strong interest in technology, be able to work well within a team of engineers and product managers, and have an ability to tell compelling stories about users and experiences to support your work.

Potential candidates must possess several vital soft skills. You should be:
• A thinker—You’re thoughtful and deliberate in your design choices and can readily articulate your thinking to members of the team.
• A communicator—You’ve got the social skills to understand (or explain) what needs to be changed, and why. You embrace criticism to spur insightful dialog and positive action, rather than seeing it as a reason to be defensive or to shut down.
• A negotiator—There’s no perfect interface and no right answer. You’re able to create different options and translate the tradeoffs between them in the context of business objectives.
• A facilitator—You know how to set ego aside to better promote collaboration with others to move the project forward as one collective team. You’re a team player, not a soloist.

About the team
You will be a member of both the product team as well as the broader design group. As such, you will primarily work very closely with the lead designer, along with project management and dev teams, but you’ll also play an important role within the larger design group, comprised of a myriad of talented and diverse individuals with a wide range of unique backgrounds and passions. Our hope is that you will add your own unique perspective to the mix, helping to continue our long-standing tradition of fostering a welcoming and open environment where creativity and innovation can thrive, and where you can excel and make a positive impact every day. The consensus among those currently on the team is that there really is no better design team to be part of here—or anywhere for that matter!

A strong portfolio is critical for interviewing for this role. You must be able to demonstrate your skills and experience through a compelling design presentation. Specifically, we want to see a showcase of your UX and interaction design skills, including examples of how you have taken complex user scenarios and translated them into elegant UX solutions. But we don’t want to see just pretty pictures—you must explain your thinking and walk us through your design process from start to finish. Include any materials from your process that you think would be appropriate to help tell the story—wire frame diagrams, white board sketches, early designs, final designs, interactive prototypes. While we do appreciate seeing a diversity of portfolio work, please limit your presentation to focus on three key projects, but feel free to keep a handful of others at the ready for additional conversation if deemed necessary.

• Design degree or equivalent experience, or 2-3 years’ industry experience in interactive, UX, or visual design
• Ability to demonstrate skills across IA, usability, IxD, and visual design
• Strong working familiarity with the Adobe design suite (specifically Adobe Illustrator)
• Ability to create highly polished design mockups, and other communication artifacts
• Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Scope and estimate efforts accurately, prioritize tasks and goals independently, and rapidly produce deliverables

Desirable skills & experience:
• Experience designing user experiences for enterprise software/services
• Experience with designing interactive prototypes
• Experience with UI design principles and patterns
• Skills with HTML, JavaScript, CSS a bonus
