Round Rock, TX based technology solutions company is seeking a UX Designer for their North Austin location. This person defines and owns user experience design deliverables across software project initiatives including ideation, user-flow analysis, wire-framing, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, branding and execution. Ensures interactive and visual designs achieve the highest level of usability, desirability and customer satisfaction.

Core responsibilities:
• Acts as a key player in the strategic design process of projects, assuming responsibility for the overall customer experience strategy and execution.
• Helps define the user experience vision, brand strategy, solution innovation, and prototyping.
• Identifies user centered design patterns, establishes scenarios, places designs into user context and creates interactions that align to those requirements.
• Creates user task models, user experience architecture, wireframe level design through to prototypes.
• Conceives innovative user-interface models that explore concepts that lie well outside today’s typical application paradigms.
• Designs rich visual and user-interaction solutions across a range of platforms and mediums.
• Delivers visual and behavioral specifications and production assets
• Works with product/project managers and developers to ensure completion of product/application design as specified

Qualifications & Requirements:

MUST SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO FOR CONSIDERATION

• Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills
• Undergraduate degree and 4-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Strong skillset in digital design with an emphasis on user interfaces for Windows desktop, mobile (iOS/Android), and web applications.
• Strong level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to distill complex problems into intuitive, clean, user friendly designs.
• Experience with creating detailed workflow specifications and behaviors for development teams.
• Expert in User Experience concepts, Information Architecture, and software brand strategy.
• Able to follow and apply existing Design Language Guidelines.
• Strong understanding of and experience with typography, color, texture, layout, and general visual design for branding/commerce environments.
• Must be up to date with the latest in interactive and visual design trends.
• Able to shepherd a product from concept through development.
• Able to process and integrate usability studies, reports, trends, data, and information into plans, deliverables, and recommendations.
