Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a UX Designer to work a 1 year contract on-location in Richfield, MN. Local candidates only please.

As a UX Designer for the UX Product View team you will be responsible for in-take, definition, shaping, and developing digital experiences of three focus areas: (1) User Generated Content, (2) Recommendations, and (3) Search. The responsibility of this role will be specific to the large and small view web experiences. As part of this role you will build awareness and understanding of similar digital experiences within native apps via smartphones and tablets. You will be a part of a highly collaborative product team working in an agile environment. Your ability to translate business needs to UX deliverables such as sketches, wire frames, user flows, and high-fidelity mock-ups will be key to properly supporting the three focus areas. You will create and optimize graphical assets that are on-brand, employ design standards set by company style guides, and build continuity across the various digital touch points. Over time, you will become well versed in the brand standards and be able to translate and evolve these standards to improve the customer experience. You will have multiple collaborative partners within each focus area that will frame the business needs of each initiative. To support the three focus areas you will be required to plan, build, and present creative concepts, take direction, and manage concurrent development efforts.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the shared business goals of the User Generated Content, Recommendations, and Search domain teams.
• Create and update designs and layouts, while working within defined templates.
• Form partnerships and work side-by-side domain team product managers, engineers, and the extended UX Product View Team.
• Document and optimize standards and guidelines to support new and ongoing work as needed.
• Participate in the planning and development of new content.
• Employ design standards set by company style guides.
• Remain current with digital trends, usability and standards, along with the tools and techniques for online experience development.

Required Skills Overview:
• Current online portfolio.
• 5-7 years of combined digital design experience across web and native app.
• Proven ability to formally present and articulate ideas effectively.
• Ability to develop healthy relationships directly with business partners as the main UX point of contact.
• Ability to work with business partners to sequence work and set expectations accordingly to meet deadlines of concurrent work efforts.

1. Photoshop CC (2015) – Advanced/Expert
2. Axure, Ominigraffle, Balsamiq, Visio, InVision, Flinto, Keynote, Fluid UI – Intermediate/Advanced
3. Illustrator CC (2015) – Intermediate
