platform experiences – so this role requires a person who is constructive, charismatic,
passionate, and committed to informed problem solving, flexibility, scalability, and
innovation.


The Digital Media Group is a full-sevice digital agency within our clients company, responsible for
end-to-end Product Development, UX/UI Design and Content Strategy across all
digital platforms. Our team’s focus is on user advocacy and digital brand expertise using
collaborative, cutting-edge and intelligent design methods and strategy in cross-platform
experiences.

Working closely alongside key stakeholders and developers, you will help to contribute to
and support the creative and iterative process through concept design, strategy and user-
centric methodologies – as well as establish and carry out the more tactical experience
design for various digital features and products.

In addition, you will be an integral part within our team, helping to develop, define and
grow our process and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who is
eager to help to shape his or her own role and contribution.

Who You Are:
• Someone who has experience designing for the following are preferred: highly
trafficked consumer-driven websites, technology, cross platform experiences,
entertainment experiences and agency experience
• An ability to create and maintain prototypes and design specs and other applicable
documentation in conceptual, analysis, and tactical phases of a project
• Strong knowledge of user-centric design processes and methodology, particularly as
applied to cross platform products
• You are passionate about keeping up to speed with trends and innovations in
experience design, technology, development, visual design, art, communications
design and product design
• Someone who is driven and eager to dive in and carve out their own role and
contribution to the team
• Someone who is flexible, invigorated by multiple projects and a fast paced
environment, and highly collaborative
• You know what excellence is within your craft – and can not only identify and
evangelize best practices, but use your tools to push new boundaries and explore
new territory in order to deliver innovation
• You have a detail-oriented personality and highly developed organizational skills
including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• You have strong self-management skills combined with an ability to work as a
contributing member of a multi-disciplinary team
• You believe that better work is done through collaboration and iteration
• You can serve as an advocate for the user, while still maintaining an understanding
of the value of brand and business needs
• A belief in the importance of prototyping, and an ability to lead and deliver
prototypes at various levels of fidelity
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• BS/BA or Masters in Design, HCI or related degree and experience preferred

An understanding of the following software:
o MacOSX
o Visio, Omnigraffle and/or other applicable wireframing packages
o Adobe Software
o Rapid Prototyping skills (Axure, Flash, front-end coding etc)
o Bonus: Cross-Functional Expertise (Content and/or traditional print design,
fine art, UI design, coding and development etc)
