Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a UX Copywriter to work a 1 year contract on-location in Richfield, MN on the Shop View Product Team.

Overview
In this position, the UX Copywriter will work with the Shop View Product team responsible for a portion of the digital experiences of the client's website (both the desktop web and mobile web instances). The Shop View Product team is looking for a highly motivated, inquisitive and passionate professional to join the team.

As a UX Copywriter you will be a key contributor in shaping online customer experiences. The UX Copywriter is a resourceful problem-solver who translates complex ideas and business requirements into clear, concise, customer-facing language. The UX Copywriter a passion for refinement and conveying information in a brief, meaningful way and must be comfortable collaborating with multiple teams, and also comfortable working independently. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once. The ideal candidate understands UX principles and strives to anticipate customers’ needs, while communicating in a genuine voice.

We strongly emphasize the customer experience and user-centered design methodologies and the ideal candidate will be a champion for these principles while working closely with a team of fellow UX practitioners, developers, product owners and business partners.

About the Shop View Product Team
The Shop View Product Team is the team tasked with improving, maintaining, and innovating how customers shop and discover products and services to meet their needs and expectations. This includes a spectrum of capabilities related to the searching, researching, and learning process inherent within a customer’s journey. Experience highlights that the Shop team is responsible for include the product listing and product detail pages, the search and faceting process, and helpful timely content that can include personalized recommendations to enable customers to make an informed decision.

Responsibilities:
• Write, revise and proofread content for a range of new features and site enhancements. Content includes directional messaging, help content, instructions, buttons, forms, headlines, links, error messages, confirmation messages and e-mails.
• Work collaboratively and form partnerships within an agile UX product team made up of architects, designers, product managers and developers to create smart, user-friendly experiences.
• Contribute to the shared business goals of the Shop Product team and build awareness through collaboration of the business goals of the Buy and Own Product teams.
• Document and optimize standards and guidelines to support new and ongoing work as needed.
• Understand user needs, business goals and the experience flow for each project.
• Act as a continuity editor for UX content, ensuring consistent messaging across different parts of the site and across different platforms.
• Participate in the planning and development of new content.
• Conduct QA testing and validation before content goes live.
• Employ brand expression standards set by company style guides.
• Remain current with competitive set experiences, digital trends, usability and standards, along with the tools and techniques for online experience development.
• Be an advocate for the customer with relevant and meaningful development.

Skills Overview:
• Current online portfolio.
• 5-7 years of experience writing for the web
• Proven ability to formally present and articulate ideas effectively.
• Ability to develop healthy relationships directly with business partners and fellow UX practitioners.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
