UX Copywriter - Optimization

Our client is looking for a motivated, talented UX copywriter to be a vital part of our web team. You should be known for having a dozen takes on one idea. And even though you strive for perfection, you're comfortable working quickly to release and then possibly iterate some more. Experimentation is a critical part of your process and you’re obsessed with using data and customer insights to inform your solutions. Speed is key with this role and the ability to tweak the existing levers of our products to produce the optimal amount of customer engagement, conversion and happiness.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to testing optimization and user research
• Follow brand voice guidelines to solve tough user experience and business challenges with words
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, analysts and other teams throughout our business
• Manage feedback from content reviews, advocating for the user
• Deliver copy with varying tools including Word, Sketch and Photoshop
• Help to further enhance the “Test and Learn” culture
• A love of travel and helping travelers find the best deals!

The ideal candidate would have:
In-house, tech experience, preferably in e-commerce and/or travel
Strong UX experience with an understanding of optimization
Ability to move fast, provide a multitude of ideas, and work collaboratively with designers, product managers and other stakeholders
Someone who takes initiative but is also flexible when it comes to revisions, quick turnarounds, etc.
Experience writing for SEO/knowledge of SEO best practices
A team player with a great attitude
Mid-level copywriter

This position is heavily-focused on optimization, with a lot of detailed, fast-turnaround, high-volume, short-form UI copy

General Responsibilities: With minimal direction, create, proofread, and edit copy for the web team, with a focus on optimization tests. Additional areas of focus will include landing pages (SEO/SEM) and partner portals. Quickly and efficiently write concise copy with an established brand voice in a strategic and compelling style. Coordinate with other copywriters, designers, product managers, analysts, researchers and legal counsel to maintain copy standards, consistency, timelines, and process flow. Proactively lead copy projects and other creative initiatives , (e.g. redesign of templates, surveys, style guide, or process improvements), setting deliverables and deadlines, and helping to drive projects to completion. Understand and promote usability best practices as they relate to online writing including, accessibility and search engine optimization.
