UX Content Strategist (Technical)

Our Fortune 1000 client's IT Governance Team is in search of an experienced Communication/Content editor to support our day-to-day needs with communications, knowledge articles, processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage content intake, including incoming production, project, data content needs and other demands of the business
• Ensure content is accurate, functional, relevant and easily accessible
• Make content updates as data and/or business needs change
• Maintain the taxonomy, information architecture, and content mapping schemas used for structuring and filtering content in the Knowledge Base
• Provide ongoing qualitative and quantitative measurements of content scope, effectiveness, and usage
• Enact regular audits of content libraries to ensure adherence to content management principles and business rules
• Manage communication between the business and operations to ensure policy and process changes are delivered on-time in a clear, concise manner
• Partner with cross-functional content teams to drive solutions that minimize redundancy and promote efficient reuse
• Work with business teams to develop content that drives user engagement and decreases case handling time
• Develop deep relationships with senior stakeholders, functional teams and external vendors to diagnose and address complex problems through content
• Act as a subject matter expert on strategic projects that relate to End User knowledge, training, and communications Basic Qualifications
• Proven relevant content management experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment
• High level of business acumen
• Ability to synthesize complex processes into simple and engaging language
• Clear track record of helping customers/partners/clients achieve and evolve business results
• Demonstrated skills and success in process improvement design and workflow analysis
• Proficiency in data analysis and data-based decision making
• Project management experience Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with enterprise content management systems
• Proficiency working with the MS Office Suite, Adobe, or other relevant drafting, editing, graphic suites
• Background in information architecture (IA), user experience (UX), and user research
• Experience working in a global organization Work Experience and Education Guidelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field
• Experience in the customer service industry or in a role with a very strong customer focus
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing (You will be asked to provide 2-3 writing samples of training/documentation, technical communications, and/or KB content)
