UX Architect (RELOCATION AVAILABLE)

Established Juno Beach company is looking for support in their interactive marketing department. Willing to pay for relocation.

The information and User Experience Architect conceptualizes and designs powerful and intuitive user interface solutions for a wide range of interactive products including websites, emails, mobile and web based applications. The Information and User Experience Architect also conducts user research and business stakeholder design sessions to translate findings into annotated wireframes, story boards and task flow diagrams for business review. They create clickable and paper prototypes, conduct usability testing, work with web designers and back-end developers to ensure successful implementation of solutions, and continuously optimize applications based on performance analytics to maximize conversion potential.

Primary Responsibilities

- Collaborate with IT developers, web designers and other team members to understand the vision and purpose of interactive projects.
- Participate in detailed design meetings to define and create successful experiences that align with key project objectives, business goals, user needs and branding.
- Work to understand and distill user task, behaviors and needs in order to translate them into requirements and use cases through the use of UCD techniques and methods.
- Organize site content and increase efficiency of user tasks by defining suitable interaction models, task flow diagrams and wireframes.
- Assist in contextual evaluations to define system requirements.
- Conduct heuristic evaluation for future enhancement of various digital applications.
- Prepare visual and written presentation materials to share with multidisciplinary teams. These documents include competitive audits, personas, interaction specifications and site maps.
- Draft interaction specifications with an understanding of platform limitations.
- Work with aesthetic designers and front-end developers to ensure that prototypes are successfully translated into functional web based applications, web sites or mobile applications.
- Constantly engage with performance analytics data in order to intelligently define design and content enhancements that will maximize conversion, site performance, SEO traffic and user efficiency.
- Create and evaluate time estimates for personal tasks and deliverables assigned to web designers.
- Work with the web and ecommerce team to identify and implement process improvements that make the group more efficient.
- Actively contribute to the culture of communication, collaboration and creativity.


Education & Experience


- A design degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in Web-based information architecture and interaction design in multiple delivery channels (browser, email, mobile).
- Excellent presentation skills for rationale of information architecture, design and technology recommendations.
- Experience and expertise in user-centered design methodology
- Able to advocate the concept of continuous improvement/optimization.
- Experience with creating UserTesting Plans and completing usability assessments using remote or low-fidelity testing tools.
- Ability to quickly and effectively iterate designs and design prototypes based on user input.
- Participation in the complete lifecycle of website development, software or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of Internet usability and user interface best practices.
- Knowledge of usability principles and best practices.
- Able to act effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Axure or equivalent prototyping tool is a plus.
