About the User Experience Architect Position
User Experience Architects work closely with the Strategy and Creative teams to develop an engaging user experience that addresses the goals of the client, and addresses the specific needs of the target audience. They are responsible for defining the User Experience of a project, and organizing diverse requirements into an intuitive, coherent application with optimal usability.

User Experience Architects work closely with the Strategy team to identify the unique user groups of a website or application, and cultivate a more comprehensive understanding of these groups through the development of Personas that capture the needs, challenges and traits of the users, so they can be properly addressed through the user experience.

The UX Architect is then responsible for organizing the site navigation and architecture, or Sitemap, serving as the skeleton of the site upon which all other aspects are built.

Interactive Prototypes are then developed to define the User Experience of the project. Through this process, the site architecture, feature set and base functionality are represented through these clickable, annotated wireframes, and while they do not represent a graphic design solution, they help define the visual layouts of the unique page templates for the project. This deliverable is central in orchestrating a strategic, logical, usable, and engaging solution to the project requirements.

The UX Architect remains involved throughout the lifecycle of a project, taking an oversight role while the functional documentation is created, and on through the development and Quality Assurance phases.

Balance multiple projects, schedules and deadlines.
Create informational graphics including blueprints, functional specs, personas, prototypes, sitemaps, use cases, user journeys, and wireframes.
Drive and document conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs with technical teams within project constraints to meet customer requirements.

BA/BS in design, technology or equivalent field.
3+ years experience in consulting, design, development, product management or related field.
Able to produce wireframes, site maps, user flows, functional requirements and other documentation.
Experience building numerous large scale websites, microsites and web applications.
