UX Architect

If so, we may have an amazing opportunity for you. We have a contract-to-perm position available for a mid-level UX Architect.

You should have:
· Work closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to champion and manage initiatives to continually improve
and enhance the experience of users.
· Convert market and customer requirements into use cases for software components
· Collect information from customers, partners and customer-facing team members to ensure that solutions truly answer the
stated needs in an effective manner
· UX Leads gather, define, and clarify clients' business objectives, brand, and audiences, and translate this understanding
into documentation that defines the "big idea" and guiding creative vision that will shape the entire project.
· Plan and define user experience process and deliverable strategy for projects
· Act as client facing User Experience Lead on projects
· Manage a project team of 2 - 3 user experience professionals
· Communicate the capabilities and value of our services
· Support sales efforts and proposal development
· Lead client deliverable presentations
· Lead the detailing of user experience requirements
· Lead the development and delivery of business requirements, audience and competitive analysis, content inventories,
taxonomies, creative briefs, information architecture strategies and other client documentation
· Facilitate discovery meetings (including kickoff, brand discussions, audience discovery, and definition of business and
project objectives)
· Own our strategy deliverables, including: audience personas, creative brief, Interactive Development Strategy (IDS),
competitive and landscape analyses, and concept documentation.
· Conduct competitive analysis, landscape analysis, and primary research (user surveys and focus groups)
· Develop strategies for marketing, communications, and outreach, encompassing search engine optimization, email marketing
strategy, social marketing and blog outreach.
· Inspire, lead, and develop trust, both internally and externally.
· Develop concept documents and define features and functionality and create necessary documentation.
· Develop the following deliverables: information architecture, content strategy, wireframes.
· Work with our business development team to help define deliverables and project scope for prospective client projects
· Analyze web metrics
· Monitor the market, creating a database of best-in-class user experiences


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience on web based projects in two or more of the following capabilities: visual design, branding, usability,
• information architecture, content conversion, HTML production, multimedia, scripting technologies, and taxonomy creation and • human factors.
• Experience developing Wireframes and Site Maps.
• Extensive experience in setting user experience strategy in determining deliverables and approaches for projects
• Ability to manage client relationship at the senior levels across marketing and executive functions
• Proven project leadership and management capabilities for projects of medium size and complexity
• Proven client interaction and consulting skills
• Experience conducting client presentations and meeting facilitation



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, fine art, information architecture, industrial design, product design, visual communications or human-computer interactions.

EXPERIENCE:
Portfolio showcasing exceptional, strong, innovative user experience work. 7+ years professional experience in visual/interactive design experience (and the portfolio to prove it), including 2+ years working on user experience projects within the Internet industry. Relevant experience in advertising agency, design firm, marketing, corporate identity, brand management and Internet professional services preferred.
