Our consulting client is looking for a UX Architect AND UX Designer to join their team for a long term contract with the potential to convert permanently!

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Defining and planning the short term and long term User Experience initiatives for an insurance product or suite of insurance products
• Managing a team of UX Designers and working independently
• Providing expert design guidance and direction throughout the product lifecycle
• Continually working with product teams to gather and synthesize usability related requirements
• Identifying and communicating any issues or risks that could impact product or user experience direction
• Ensuring all user experience deliverables are high quality and fulfill product needs
• Contributing to the existing set of templates, standards and processes that can be leveraged across the team
• Understanding the needs of end users and being the user advocate with all product team members and stakeholders
• Effectively working with Business SMEs, Product Managers and Developers to accomplish your deliverables
• Coordinating all activities of the user experience including functional design, creative and technology.
• Understanding technical impacts and constraints that should be considered with new design solutions and suggestions

The ideal candidate has a people-centric (not just user-centric) ethic underpinned by a focus on live prototyping and proof-of-concepts, human insights strategy, and having a sixth sense of what clients really want.

You must be able to be hands on owning work quality, planning and completion of deliverables and be able to work on strategic direction with senior Architects and Leads.

Qualities we are looking for include a can-do spirit, experience with large, complex, digital projects—and a focus on clean, modern, high-quality design that doesn’t ignore user research or technical requirements. You’ll need to be able to think like a strategist and an entrepreneur who’s always looking for improvement and efficiencies. Stellar communication skills come in handy, too, since you’ll be leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, and you need to know how to talk about complex processes simply.

We are looking for someone who has deep experience in UX Design with experience in Research, Strategy, Client Workshops, Interaction Design, User Journeys, Personas, Sitemaps, Wireframes, Prototyping - the end to end User Centered Design Process - in order to produce enterprise experiences that balance business objectives, user needs and technical complexity.
