Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a UX Architect to work a 1 year contract, with strong potential to extend, on-location, on the Shop View Product Team.

Overview
The Shop View Product team is looking for a highly motivated, inquisitive and passionate professional to join the team. As a UX Architect you will be a key contributor in shaping online customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include the organization of workflows and process flows, the creation of wireframes and prototypes, the prioritization of content and functionality, and participation in the creation of user research studies. The ideal candidate will be a champion for customer experience and user-centered design methodology principles while working closely with a team of fellow UX practitioners, developers, product owners and business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the shared business goals of the Shop Product team and build awareness through collaboration of the business goals of the Buy and Own Product teams.
  • Create and update designs and layouts, while working within defined templates.
  • Form partnerships and work side-by-side product managers, engineers, and the extended UX Product View Team.
  • Document and optimize standards and guidelines to support new and ongoing work as needed.
  • Participate in the planning and development of new content.
  • Employ design standards set by company style guides.
  • Remain current with digital trends, usability and standards, along with the tools and techniques for online experience development.

    The Shop View Product Team is tasked with improving, maintaining, and innovating how customers shop and discover products and services to meet their needs and expectations. This includes a spectrum of capabilities related to the searching, researching, and learning process inherent within a customer’s journey. Experience highlights that the Shop team is responsible for include the product listing and product detail pages, the search and faceting process, and helpful timely content that can include personalized recommendations to enable customers to make an informed decision.
