US Podcast Programmer

The programming team is looking for a talented and motivated Podcast programmer to support the game console programming team in the United States.

Responsibilities
• Oversee portfolio of various podcast marketplace hub experiences, thematic discovery and catalog for all applicable platform screens
• Leverage a comprehensive base of knowledge and enthusiasm for podcasts for the benefit of our customers and partner relationships
• Act in a diligent and professional manner with peers and partners, while being assertive and direct
• Delight podcasting stakeholders with world-class editorial programming
• Assist wider programming team (Music, Video etc) with additional programming contributions as needed

Day-to-day and week-to-week tasks:
• Manage US podcast portfolio; handle new podcast submission approvals, rejections and “report-a-concern” issue management
• Manage Podcast content partner relationships & day-to-day communication
• Proactively manage content acquisition for new audio and video programming
• Perform regular competitive intelligence analysis to help drive new opportunities, priorities and content partner relationships
• Assist with product development & roadmap planning with program management and engineering teams to improve the service, tools and launches on new tuner platforms
• Manage incoming podcasts and feeds to ensure metadata and genre classifications are correct
• Maintain relationships with internal partners (business, marketing, programming)
• Execute weekly programming & editorial that is timely, engaging and appropriately meets business, marketing & programming objectives
• Work within deadlines and processes created to ensure on-time publishing
• Potential for additional programming requirements outside of podcasting as workload allows

Education/Experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office-intermediate/advanced level including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook w/Image editing software preferred.
• Podcast and content publishing experience/expertise
• Passion for podcasts, entertainment and technology
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships
