UI/UX Front End Developer

Our client is looking for a UI/UX Front End Developer! This role is temp to perm onsite in their Boston office and starts ASAP!

The candidate will report to their Chief Architect and be part of the Software team in Boston (and will work closely with their UX team in SF)

As a UI/UX Front-end Developer you'll be responsible for collaborating with the software and product development teams to develop code - you should be comfortable writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from scratch.

As a core member of a small dynamic team your responsibilities will range from simple content updates to strategic definition of progressive coding standards. You will have an opportunity to work on both Web and Mobile (iOS & Android) app projects.

Key responsibilities :
Optimize existing front-end code to adhere to cross browser/device compatibility standards
Develop and deliver browser/device compatible front-end code to back-end developers and product development teams
Develop highly interactive web interfaces with modular, reusable CSS and JavaScript

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in developing front-end and user interface code for websites
3+ years of experience coding HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Ability to address and quickly fix browser compatibility issues
Ability to learn, leverage and contribute to an in-house JavaScript Library
Knowledge and eagerness to implement current web designs and development trends, including HTML5 and CSS3, into a legacy system
Passion for creating great user experience and interaction
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and time management abilities
Analytical and critical thinking who understands the big picture
Experience with Bootstrap, JQuery, jQuery Mobile, Ajax, or highcharts.js preferred
Experience with Content Management Systems and data visualization a plus
Ability to design, in addition to code, a plus
